Professional Development

Professional development provides teachers and support staff with the necessary training to ensure that all children receive quality reading instruction in Estrellita. Participants will be exposed to all of the essential components of the program including implementation, assessment and timelines. Participants will learn various Estrellita multisensory activities incorporating visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic modalities in order to meet the needs of students with different learning styles. Incorporation of parental involvement activities throughout the Estrellita curriculum will be emphasized.

The Professional Development courses can be purchased separately or at a discount price in a bundled format. We strongly encourage Districts to consider utilizing Professional Development to reinforce the fidelity to the program's core methodology and to assure that children learn to read more quickly and more successfully.
